365 Days of Momma

Day 29

Day 29 of the selfie challenge

Today I spent the morning gathering together the massive amount of mail that I needed to send before heading out to the post office to mail one package and a bunch of cards. Though I had two books of stamps on hand I was still short a few. Now I am hanging out at home enjoying my guys before work… Someday I will not have to work weekends, and it will be lovely! One more year of school to go before I have finished all of the degrees I set out to attain!

Day 28

Day 28 of the selfie challenge

Tonight we are going out on the town with some friends in downtown Dover NH to a new craft brew place called the Thirsty Moose. They have over 60 beers on tap here… I am loving it. Tonight I am starting with a North Coast Old No. 38 Stout. It is light for a stout, but delicious.

Day 27

Day 27 of the selfie challenge

Today was the final day of my IV class. The certification is complete just in time for my next semester of school to begin. The plus side is no more long commutes!
After class Liam, The Bean, the hubs and I all went and celebrated a birthday dinner with my grandma at her house. It was an awesome little gathering, and was extra special this year because my step mother, sister, and baby brother were all up to visit from Florida with a couple of my (adorable) nephews. We all had a blast and now I am home exhausted and putting my feet up for a few minutes before the bedtime routine begins!

Day 26

Day 26 of the selfie challenge

I just love days when I get a ton accomplished AND get to spend a bunch of quality time with the kiddos. Today was one of those days. We had leftovers for dinner which meant virtually no time in the kitchen for me tonight. Between the two (apparently starving) toddlers, the hubs, and myself we almost managed to clean all of then out of the fridge. The kids just love my chicken in wine sauce (I suspect it’s the mashed potatoes I serve it with and the tenderness of the meat).

The giant smile on my face is because as I was cleaning up the kitchen tonight I could hear the kids and the hubs in the living room making music…

So of course I snuck in to take a picture 🙂
The poor pups suffered through the calamity.

Day 25

Day 25 of the selfie challenge

After a morning full of momma an baby dance offs and snuggles I haw actually managed to get Liam and I cleaned up and ready to go with time to spare… Amazing.

And now it’s off to the hang with Aunty Moonshine for Liam and work for me!

Day 24

Day 24 of the selfie challenge
Liam an I had a busy day today! After a weekend of family activities we had today to get the house in order for the week. It’s back to work tomorrow. So we cleaned, weeded, and baked our way through the day. I really didn’t notice the lovely dirt smear on my face until I took the daily selfie while busy in the kitchen tonight. I hope the folks at the local market enjoyed my dirt smeared face!

Liam and I made healthy banana zucchini muffins tonight… They are ok, but not amazing… The recipe needs tweaking before it lands up on the toddler approved page. Liam ate one bite and fed the rest to the dogs (who loved it)!

Day 23

Day 23 of the selfie challenge

It is a lazy Sunday morning hanging out at home doing chores and playing. One of my favorite things that Liam does is snuggle up and read books in our laps. Mr. “I do” prefers to do the reading and page turning himself, and I just get to enjoy the morning snuggles 🙂

Day 22

Day 22 of the selfie project: 365 Days of Momma
Today was the Somersworth International Children’s Festival! We all had a fun day out in the sun… I don’t know about you, but hanging out in the sun all day exhausts me. That coupled with a measly 3 hours of sleep last night (thank you insomnia) has left me feeling wilted. Fenway is right there with me!

Day 19

Day 19 of the selfie challenge

Today is another super hot day… It was suppose to rain all morning, but we ended up only having a brief sprinkle that kept us indoor playing for a couple of hours around breakfast.

Liam must have realized I was hungry… Sadly wooden hamburgers with cheese are not my favorite.
